I am a software engineer at deviantART, writing infrastructure code and using machine learning to improve the site. In the past I spent time in the video game industry, working on artificial intelligence for Max Payne 3 at Rockstar Games, and as an artificial intelligence lead at Mad Doc Software before it became Rockstar New England. My interest in games was sparked by using them as a research platform during my Ph.D. and Postdoc at the MIT Media Laboratory in the Cognitive Machines group.
